The game features fairly simple menus, baseball cards of all the players, rosters and schedules, a system of 'good and bad days' that alter players' stats (one may not like Tuesdays, or be much better when a particular person is on the other team, etc. And, as in Backyard Sports titles, there are power-ups: pitches like the Big Freeze, the Corkscrew or the Elevator. There's even batting practice, from tee-ball to the hardest difficulties, and a Spectator mode for two teams to face off while you watch.
Play a single game, or an entire season (earning pennants and trophies and maybe getting into the Hall of Fame), or even online against other BB2001 players. However, when I load it up I get the 'Humongous. While the game's compatibility is only listed as 20 completed the comments do say 'Game is playable, with glitches', so I figure I should at least be able to get it to run.
